Looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend your afternoon? Come and join us for a Paint & Sip Workshop among the plants at Zephyr Forest – Narangba Nursery.
Leave the busy week behind and enjoy a few hours of creativity, greenery and good company in our beautiful nursery setting. Surrounded by lush plants, you can slow down, pick up a paintbrush and enjoy some time to yourself — or bring along a friend and make an afternoon of it.
You don’t need to be an artist to join us. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or already love painting, everyone is welcome.
🎨 Choose What You Want to Paint
One of the best things about our Paint & Sip Workshop in Brisbane is that you get to choose your own painting experience.
Want a little guidance? Follow along with our guided painting, where we’ll take you through the painting step by step.
Prefer to do your own thing? You can choose your own plant or botanical subject from the nursery and create your own artwork. Pick something that catches your eye, find your favourite plant and let it inspire your painting.
You don’t have to paint the same picture as everyone else. You can choose the style, colours and subject that you love and create something that feels uniquely yours.
There’s no pressure to create a “perfect” painting. It’s about having fun, trying something creative and enjoying the experience.
🌿 Paint Surrounded by Plants
Our Paint & Sip is a little different from your typical painting class. Instead of sitting inside a traditional art studio, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful plants and the peaceful atmosphere of our nursery.
There’s plenty to inspire you — from interesting foliage and colourful flowers to unusual and tropical plants.
Spend the afternoon chatting, laughing, painting and enjoying your favourite drink. It’s a lovely way to catch up with friends, enjoy a girls’ afternoon, celebrate a special occasion, or simply take some time out for yourself.

Everything you need for your painting experience is provided:

All you need to bring is yourself and your favourite drink!
🍷☕ Bring Your Favourite Beverage
Make yourself comfortable and bring something you enjoy drinking while you paint. You’re welcome to bring wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea or another favourite beverage.
For a relaxed and responsible afternoon, alcohol is limited to a maximum of 2 standard drinks per person during the workshop.
We’ll also have tea, coffee and water available, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The focus is on good company, creativity and having a lovely afternoon among the plants. 🌿🎨
🌧️ A Little Rain Won’t Stop Us!
Queensland weather can be unpredictable, but don’t worry — rain won’t stop the fun!
If the weather turns wet, we’ll move the workshop to our covered pergola area, so you can stay dry and comfortable while continuing to paint and enjoy the nursery atmosphere.
🪴 Small, Relaxed & Personal
We’re keeping the group intentionally small, with strictly limited spaces for just 8 people.
A smaller group means plenty of room to paint comfortably, ask questions and receive help when you need it. It also keeps the atmosphere relaxed and friendly.
Come on your own, bring a friend or gather a small group — everyone is welcome.
