Description
Fig ‘Brown Turkey’ is a hardy, self-fertile fig tree producing medium to large, sweet brownish-purple fruits with a rich, jammy flavour — similar to the Brown Turkey figs commonly found in supermarkets. Ideal for fresh eating, cooking, or drying, it’s a versatile and easy-care tree for any garden.
This deciduous variety grows around 3–5 metres tall and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and performs well in both subtropical and temperate climates. Its dense foliage also provides a beautiful, leafy feature for your garden.
