Description
Fig ‘Black Genoa’ is a vigorous, self-fertile fig tree producing large, sweet, dark-purple fruits with a rich, honeyed flavour — similar to the Black Mission figs often found in supermarkets. Perfect for fresh eating, drying, or adding to desserts, this variety is a delicious and easy-care addition to any garden.
This deciduous tree grows around 3–5 metres tall and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant once established, it’s ideal for subtropical and temperate climates. Its stunning green foliage and abundant fruit make it both an ornamental and productive tree.
