Description
Muntingia calabura, commonly known as Jamaican cherry or Panama berry, is a fast-growing tropical fruit tree producing masses of small red berries with a sweet, cotton-candy-like flavour.
It is highly productive in warm climates and can fruit multiple times throughout the year. The tree is also valued for its light shade, wildlife attraction, and fast establishment, making it ideal for food forests and informal garden spaces.
